Note for May 17, 2012

Regardless of your sexual preferences, if you have never had some version of this conversation, you have never been in an adult relationship. This is also fact.

Thank you to everyone who sent suggestions on how I could shoehorn light porn into their lives, but it isn't possible. I have contracts with advertisers, web hosts, and payment services who frown heavily on those sorts of shenanigans, and the problems would not offset the gains for me. Besides, it's not as though the Internet is lacking such things; every time I look at DeviantArt, I get an illustrated tour of fetishes I never knew existed.

I'm behind on email (again). I'll catch up over the weekend. Have a great one!

Note for May 14, 2012

*sigh* I would have so much fun doing light porn with these two if it weren't for all of you people reading from work and your concerns about "not wanting to get fired." Sheesh. It's like we live in a shared society or something.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. The last of the posters and all recent orders will go out on Monday, and I did an interview with Kurt Sasso over the weekend. The man is a genius editor. He seamlessly cut out most of Puppy's barkattacks, and he made it sound as though I didn't ramble on like a lunatic for three hours while beating the same three points to death with the flat side of a shovel.

Probably no revised comic tomorrow, as I am almost, but not quite, caught up. See you Thursday!

Note for May 10, 2012

Morning edit: Elizabeth, our strict yet sexy strict Facebook governess observed that I had forgotten to color in the Fed's shiner. Fixed! Now if I could only find that missing bottle of beer...

Looks like I'll be doing an interview with Kurt Sasso, the Jedi Mind Trick of Webcomics,*over the weekend. This won't be live, since my schedule apparently does not allow me to associate with other human beings in real time, but you can send any questions about the comic to Kurt's Twitter account (@KurtSasso) and he will ask them to me between interruptions from my dogs.

I have a ton of stuff to catch up on this weekend, such as poster shipping and art books. I'd like to get these done tomorrow so the redones can pick back up next week.

Have a great weekend!

*Not his official title. I don't know if he has one. Lets run with Jedi Mind Trick until I get the errata notice or a cease-and-desist from the band**.

**Wacky saying equals band. There is always a band.
I have no idea where this came from --I haven't seen House of Flying Daggers in years!-- but I think I just wanted to do something pretty.

Yours for the cost of donation of any amount of $1 or more. Please let me know your preferred screen resolution in the notes.
Note for May 7, 2012

Oh goodness, we're back. I think the only way to manage this is via our old friend, the Numbered List.

1) Today's strip was supposed to come later in the chronology, but it could be moved forward without causing fuss and I needed to do a Josh comic. Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys was his character model. Rest in peace, you sassy, spicy long-faced man. Sorry to everyone if this throws off any pacing, as I usually make sure the characters aren't doing the exact same thing at the exact same time. Hint: sex.

2) My niece is beautiful. I have also heard Baby Beluga four thousand, six hundred, and twelve times in the past nine days. And if you say "Hey Otter, that means you heard that song an average of 512 times each day," I will respond, "YES I CAN COUNT THANK YOU." God help you if you harsh an infant's beluga buzz.

3) The food in Portland is wonderful, the vegetation is lush, and the meet-and-greet was loads of fun. Thanks to everyone who came out in the rain. By the way, it never, ever stops raining in Portland. This probably explains the food and the vegetation, but you guys were just fun of your own accord.

4) Dropped by Stumptown and had the pleasure of meeting Shaenon Garrity and Erika Moen. Both very, very nice, classy people.

5) The good folks at Steve Jackson Games made the mistake of referring to AGAHF as "one of the smartest webcomics out there." I apologize to them in advance for beating this quote to death on all of my upcoming publicity material. But their Ogre Kickstarter is in HULK SMASH mode and is truly a sight to behold, because every time they hit a new benchmark, they cram more goodies in the box. At this rate, the last bonus material offered will have to be a really, really big box.

6) Thanks again to Electric Puppet Theater for the guest strip! I had some others in the queue but the auto-uploader was not scheduled properly, so I will sit on them for later.

7) Time change, zombie webcomic person, braaaains, zzzzzzz.
Guest comic from EPT Comics

Thanks to the good folks at Electric Puppet Theater for this lovely comic with its enviously clean, crisp lines (you rats) and delightful 80s homage! This begs the question, though, if Speedy is a mogwai, what is he like in his gremlin form?

Actually, this probably begs the other question: does it still count as getting him wet if you wait until the bubbles stop?

Thanks Mark!
