Comic for 18 August 2014: Technically, a worldwide depression would be VERY easy to maintain.
First  Back  Next  Last
I spent most of last week driving a U-Haul covered in plesiosaurs (not even kidding), which went as slow as drying mud because of the roads flooding. Then, after I finally got home, the site's servers went down. I've almostcome to accept that this is how I roll, but I still have hope.

These are the last few days to order for the thank you gift for readers who collected the three serialized Digital Divide .pdfs! It's a poster for $1 plus S&H. The order goes to the printer on Friday.

I'm off to fall down now. See you on Thursday!

I'm away for the week! Here, have a comic! (This is an automatic update: If there are issues with the comic, I cannot fix them immediately.)

NOTE #1 Free Rachel Peng wallpapers at Gumroad!

NOTE #2 A thank you gift for readers who collected the three serialized Digital Divide .pdfs. It's a poster for $1 plus S&H.

NOTE #3: Maker Space is finally available in paperback. This is currently backordered (woo hoo!) I am having more copies printed, and will ship them when I get home.

Here, have Thursday's comic! Just a warning: I'm helping my dad move next week, so Monday's comic will be up as scheduled, but Thursday's will be posted when I get home and I have no idea when that will be. It's a long, long drive.

I got a nice email this afternoon asking about the overlap between Patreon support and the Kickstarter shipping delays. I've addressed some of the reasons for the overlap at the writing blog. Without getting into a lot of personal details, this past spring and summer have not been easy. I was working on a draft of the Patreon before going live, but apparently it was just straight-up live anyhow. I am (really) hoping that when I get home next week, I can make the Kickstarter fulfillment a major priority again. Thank you for your patience, and wish me luck that all of these freaking fires finally die out soon.
